MeshCore in Volusia County

MeshCore has been growing pretty well in North Central Florida and specifically Volusia county. Certainly not like some of the high-densely population centers like the Pacific Northwest, but good sustainable growth. Here is a picture of the network as it stands today.

What you can see is a good amount of repeaters deployed in DeLand (upper center of the map) and continuing to reach down into Deltona. Several repeaters out in the Daytona Beach area. And several links down to the Orlando metro area.

The key repeaters consist of the Daytona Beach Amateur Radio Association (DBARA) repeater on top of Halifax hospital on Clyde Morris Boulevard, the West Volusia Amateur Radio Society (WestVARS) repeater on the top of Hugh Ash Manor on Woodland Boulevard in DeLand and a couple of private repeaters. Mainly KN4EHC’s repeater at the DeLand airport and NA4B’s repeater down in Lake Helen.

There are a number of main channels that in use on the network and rather than list them here, I will refer you to the list of channels that I (will) try to keep updated as new channels appear.
